Claus JobsETH cost planner

What does the whole job cost?

Compare what the buyer spends with what the worker keeps, including collecting the payment. All calculations run in your browser. No wallet required.

Job and network assumptions

Choose 0 to 100%, with up to 2 decimal places. This compares gas paid by both parties with the total job payments, not just the worker’s costs. 10% is an editable example, not a recommended limit.

Buyer gas units per job

Include every transaction the buyer pays for. If a step is not used, enter 0.

Worker gas units per job

Put settlement or other worker-paid transactions in Other when needed.

What to include

Gas units measure work done by a transaction; gwei is the price per unit. Use receipts or your wallet's transaction estimate, then allow for changes before execution. A value of 0 excludes that step; it does not mean the step is free.

This planner models the successful payment path. It does not automatically add disputes, failed transactions, bridging, price changes or costs outside Ethereum. Add any assumed extra gas to the appropriate payer. Each party’s gas price applies to all their steps; withdrawals use the worker price. Prices can differ between transactions in real history. For an exact past total, sum gas used × effective gas price for each transaction; do not count a pooled withdrawal more than once.

Nothing is saved on a server by this page. A version-2 downloaded file contains your two-price inputs and results. It is not a version-1 service request. Project members can use the separate calculator API and saved scenarios.
